@joch230 Yes I did that on purpose so I could show what to do when you take the embossing too far.

Do you think you may have overembossed the 1st two reeds? It seems they were too tight. You had to almost unemboss them with the other tools to get them to plink again. I hate when I do that.

Tinus I own a few meisterkasse harps and I am not happy with them they leak air and the A harp is just hard to blow what can I do I know you are the only person who endorsed them Please Help because I love the feel of them and wish they sounded better.

I don't really endorse them, I just use the coverplates because they are really nice and fast. I use standard MS reedplates and a Anthony Danecker comb. One of the problems with the MS meisterklasse is that the comb didn't always fit the reedplates. Somehow the rivets of the drawreeds end up on the comb instead of the in the slot. Luckily the comb is soft and easy to work. If you make some indentations to make room for the rivets the airtightness will improve dramatically.

Tinus, I never seen the second step of embossing, the one whre you take the back part of the tunning fork a do a further emboss? Is it necessary? also, where you aiming for a particular part of the slot in that part, I can't figure it out. Thanks a lot.

@camilo862 Turning the fork around helps you get into the corners. It isn't necessary but every little bit helps
