2d to 3d conversion will always be bullshit, regardless of the rocket science ever involved.

If you want to do this a lot, download, Stereo Movie Maker and it will do this all automatically.
You make a Left and Right image by taking two images in the same plane 3" apart .
The best way to do this with only one camera is to make a device that fits on your tripod that lets you camera slice sideways 3".
Note that since you aren't doing these at the same time nothing in the image can move.
Otherwise buy a 3D camera you can get one fairly cheaply.

because when u close i saw something different

thank you
can u take pics wit a droid camera and still have something like this?

@555Dragoon Yes, you can do this with any digital camera. The trick is you have to take two pictures one slightly to the left or right from the other. The distance between the two pics should be about the distance between your eyes.

I am learning to do this but how do I know if the 3D looks good because I dont have a 3D graphics card or monitor but a 3D TV, is it possible to test on 3D TV's?

@WhatTheHeckMoments This method is for making Anaglyph images, see Wikipedia's article entitled Anaglyph_image. The 3D effect can only be experienced by wearing colored glasses. Red / Cyan in this case.

@zeezpp8 If you look at the response video by @creaviteproductions He shows how to do this with only one image. It's a little more involved but very cool.
