From a stand up show in Glasgow in 1989.

I do not own the full show, only these clips.

  • did he lose weight between this and the drew carey show? his face looks more pointy, on drew carey.

  • well between then and drew carey he sobered up. he was still a drinker in this.

  • He got way better looking with age. I'm not the only one who thinks so right? I love him anyways...

  • It's odd to hear his accent so thick here. It's softened up quite a bit since the Late Late show.

  • Wow, looking at him in this, and in his role on Red Dwarf it's almost impossible to recognize his current form.

  • I like this but have to admit I like him better more recently (read as: sober). I'm glad his comedy's gotten a bit lighter. It's still dirty and rude (and AWESOME!) but he seems so much happier now and it really shows.

  • @delilah9 I wouldn't worry about it, unless you have your American friends questioning why you started speaking with a Scottish accent.

  • For Americans, if you watch clips of the Late Late show from 2007 or earlier you can definitely hear that his accent was thicker than it is now. But not as thick as this. It's like one has a time machine available to hear the progression of language accents by way of assimilation. You're welcome, anthropologists.

  • wow he got soo much hotter and funnier

  • that orson impression is sooo bad

  • after reading his memoir it's so weird to see what he was actually talking about in the book lol

  • Gorgeous then gorgeous now!!!

  • I couldn't laugh, like the video I saw from 1984. It sickens me because of what he obviously went through, and if you know me I LOVE Craig... it's hard to watch, but I still wanna see. I hope I never have one drink. Despite his condition he looked relatively good here, tho.

  • @KILLERSinTHEsoup He's like fine wine.
