The main reason why they don't hack computers running Linux or MAC OS, is because there are ten times more computers running windows, so they will do ten times more damage if attacking windows computers.

why pay for a system if there is a free system which is safer, faster and better?

but profi hackers can take control of your system in a few minutes, when u use linux they have no chance. A good antivirus dont stop them, they need one or three minutes more to hack, not more..

Yep, and i'm a gamer, so windows is best for me, but i don't have problems with viruses and crap, even if i have windows and surf the web alot, so i don't agree with you on the security bit.

but in most things, linux is much faster and safer than windows, but in other things windows is better, e.g games... Linux is not a gaming system..

for all those kids which are sitting in the basement and playing counterstrike windows is the best system ;) no offense, gaming kids :D

Well, with decent antivirus software, virus and hackers is not a problem, and i like the userfriendly-ness of windows XP.

I actually tried Linux once, if I had to choose an alternative from Windows, i would definitely choose Linux over Mac OS.
