TalentScotland Summer Placements 2011 - employability skills training course

Find out what employability skills and work experience the TalentScotland Summer Placement students have gained in 2011. All 21 students worked on eight week long placements with businesses and social enterprises in the beautiful Highlands and Islands of Scotland - from Lerwick to Stornoway, Elgin to Islay! They've gained work experience during their summer holidays from working in a real life business where they were responsible for their own projects. But they have also attended a two day training course developed and delivered by Robert Gordon University and the University of Strathclyde that helped them develop their skills and knowledge even further. The Programme is part funded by Highlands and Islands Enterprise and the European Regional Development Fund.
