Repo Men Unite During Funeral For Slain Repoman

Repo man Brandon Thomas was shot and killed on November 12th, 2009, while repossessing a vehicle. His partner, Willie Thackston, was seriously injured. Repossession agents and tow truck drivers throughout Atlanta united in a showing of solidarity during Brandon's funeral procession.

UPDATE: U.S. Marshals apprehended the suspect on 11/17/09.

For those who think a car isn't that important: when was the last time you tried going to work without a car? Public transportation is nonexistent in all rural areas and most suburbs in the US so a car is mandatory if your job isn't next door. Without a car you can't go to work, lose your job, and starve. Repoers really shouldn't be seizing such an essential tool. It's like repossessing a handicapped man's wheelchair. Consider the financial context before jumping to conclusions, people.

God...I really don't know what to say...may God and us take care of his family and help them deal though his famili's pain...I;ve never been there, but I do know what it feels like to love a person....God bless him and his famiy,
