So annoying. It wasn't a midget village at all. It was a farm, that was abandoned in the 1980s. The reason some of the houses were so small was because they were either shacks or simply sleeping areas for the orange pickers. There was a christmas tree farm there. There were also, if you had continued down the road, three private homes. And the people who lived in those homes did not appreciate the constant trespassing. The 'village' has since been torn down.

My family used to own a Xmas tree farm right on La Sierra just north of Duffrin. As kids, we went exploring in the orange groves and found "Midgetville" it was pretty spooky even in the day time. This was in the late 80s early 90s. I haven't thought about that place in a long time.

I took my teenagers there around 2000ish??? One of my sons best friends showed us! They were in the process of tearing it down at the time, but we still got to see some of the buildings and from what we saw it made me wish we had seen it sooner. It is not an urban legend!

wrong...midgetville used to be further up La Sierra, in between Harley-John and dufferin. On the right side across the street from the apartment complex.

it is my understanding that they demolished this place several years ago. It was a popular drinking spot back in high school.
