Michael Moore vs. Wolf Blitzer - Day 2

The continuation of yesterday's Blitzer Day Massacre involved a lot of Wolf kissing Michael Moore's arse. While not as many fireworks as yesterday this is well worth the watch for Moore's last seco...

Palini: You never answered MY question: When--WHEN-- is it acceptable for America to send in the military and actually kill some bad guys? I've got some news for you--the Islamists goal is to make you and me become one of two things: an Islamist, or a corpse. We can face them now where they're breeding, or wait until they're knocking down YOUR door where you live. They've already been here once. Care for a reprise?

Well, finally you got a number right for a change (My Lai). But we tried the guilty for that one.

L5: The Dems didn't ever say we should go to war. What else are you going to make up? How did a toothless lion who violated the UN a danger to us? How was war with Iraq in our national interest?
Ask yourself why we've been targets? Let's see, the US coalition killed 250,000 Iraqis during the first gulf war. We then supported an embargo that killed 150,000 mostly children and elderly -- all in a fishbowl for the mideast and the world to see. Bush is to blame for an unnecessary war.

The Dems--and everyone else--called for Saddam's removal. How did they think that was going to happen? Send him a poisoned cake? Again with the "toothless" comment. You condemn us for killing 300 in My Lai, but if Saddam slaughters hundreds of thousands of your "innocent Iraqis", he's "toothless." Wow.

L5: Of course you changed the subject. I'm simply pointing out how patriotism is rationalized in your mind. You cowardly align yourself with your country when it's convenient, but slam "socialism" whenever it might take more from your taxes. It's really easy armchairing war when your son or daughter isn't in it. ...It's give me everything. I don't want to pay for it, and I won't send my kid off to war for it either. Hypocrite.

"Your country" says it all. You really identify with our enemies, don't you? Who are you cheering for? Would you prefer to live under Sharia Law? Just when are you going to decide that America, regardless of her shortcomings, is the good guy here? We're not he ones instigating all this. Our Marine barracks were blown up in '83 when Bush was nowhere near politics. But for you, he'll always be at the root of all evil. "Living is easy with eyes closed.."
