毎年１２月２・３日の両日は秩父夜祭りで賑わいます。この映像は３日のPM６：３０から団子坂手前まで収録しました。豪華絢爛の笠鉾と屋台は目を奪われます。屋台は宮地・上町・中町・本町の４基・・・笠鉾は中近・下郷の２基！！商店街を練り歩いたあと団子坂の手前交差点で方向転換し本殿に納め終了します。とにかく人人人でカメラを構えていても人がぶつかってくるので映像が揺らいだりしますけどね。。
特に宮地町の１９分１０秒頃の映像では提灯が燃えるというハプニングも！！
彫刻や屋根にもそれぞれ特徴があり必見です。開催中の夜は花火が絶え間なく上がり冬の夜を色鮮やかに染めます。。
大勢の観光客がツアーバスでも訪れ今年最後のお祭りの夜を惜しみました。。
