painted xenomorph genestealer

I got impatient and just shot some hot glue into the rear arm gaps. and slapped some paint on it.

gaps look fairly horrible up close but from across the table its passable I guess.

yeah I use my hand as a palette.

Good job mate, can I ask how you did it? How did you get the 4 'tubes' on the back?

@Frostolo1981 no problem, the tube bits are the upper arm and forearm segments from the rear set of genestealer arms, jsut a carefull cut of the blade and some light file work arround the openings and they fit prety well. the spots where the rear arms were suposed to be were jsut plugged up with hotglue cause this was a quick test mini. cut down the back armor a bit for a flat surface to glue the arm segments on and your good to go.

he head had the eyes filled in with glue then sanded flat.

haha don't apologize, thats kinda the point it IS black. The strong blue early morning light is fairly bright too so all the gray seems like glossy blue glare. Its actually primed black, drybrushed with 2 shades of gray and washed with a black wash, the "nails" and teeth have been painted boltgun with a highlight of mithril silver. Very monochromatic.
