Arroyo: I will stay on until 2010

MANILA, Philippines--President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has declared anew that she would stay in office until her term ends in 2010 and that until this time, she would continue to institute reforms so that she would leave the country strong for the next leader. Is English the oficial languange of Phillipines??? If yes it is a shame, the oficial languange of Phillipines should be Spanish together with Tagalog....Filipinas debe sin demora regresar a su cultura Hispana, enseñar el Castellano en sus escuelas y promover la cultura Hispana.

I've seen more positive changes in the Philippines in the last 8 years than I've seen from any presidents before her. Are you guys blind? Don't you people see the constructions? buildings, roads, schools, airports, trains, I mean come on people. Allegations are only allegations.

She's doing exactly what Marcos did but she learned from Marcos' mistakes...I wonder if the bombings in Mindanao is a pre staging of martial law. She's scared that after election she will go to jail so she will try to hold on the power like Marcos...It's up to us 90 million people to demand change not the army....no more edsa revolution...real revolt is needed..wake up people...VAT, oil and rice prices are all corruption methods.
