@samoyed81966 These laws will not stop that. These laws will only hurt legitimate breeders that follow the law to begin with. As an economist that studies human behavior, incentive and allocation of resources, I can honestly tell you with a high level of probability that Prop. B will likely encourage the behavior that you have mentioned even further.
I am a loving pet owner myself who HAS adopted... but I judge social and economic policy by its actual outcome... and not it's intended outcome.

This video really stinks. I saw the truth about puppy mills several years ago. I've seen people who are buying puppies from pet stores that turn out to be sick puppies after several months of purchase. Believe me, this commercial is full of crap. Please adopt from your local animal shelter or rescue group don't shop at any pet store that supplies puppies from puppy mills.
