Interview with IOM President Harvey Fineberg

AAPA Board of Directors welcomed Institute of Medicine President Harvey Fineberg, MD, PhD at its meeting on February 17, 2011 at the Westin hotel in Alexandria, Va. Fineberg addressed the board about the status of health care in the U.S. and his views on physician assistants as a solution to some of the challenges. In this interview after his address, Fineberg highlights three ways he believes U.S. health care could be delivered more efficiently and effectively and what PAs need to do to play a role in that effort.
