Gibson Amphitheater, Universal City, Los Angeles.

Yes, your favorite blogger was at the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, Los Angeles - up front with all the other members of the press. Senator Obama was at the top of his game and in Presidential form, delivering one of his most powerful speeches yet with the support of 5,000 Obama volunteers and voters, Hollywood actors and actresses, Ne-Yo, and the Goo-Goo Dolls.

However, what impressed this blogger the most was the diversity of the crowd. Every ethnic group and every subculture was uniquely and equally represented, making it absolutely clear that Barack Obama has the best chance to unite America. As a progresive and an agent of change, Senator Obama made it absolutely clear that he can be the leader that moves us past the gridlock and toward the progress that this country needs.

Obama-Edwards 2008.

  • Someone email this to the president - just as a follow-up on his promises..

  • out of all the things he said which one did he do? none lol

  • @unemployedwasp - can you tell me the title of that speech and where it can be found here on youtube,.

  • Change it back. Can we get a do-over? Commie

  • What he really means is WE'RE ALL GOING TO LEAD. it doesn't mean he's going to jump right on Darfur, it might mean other Americans are going to get inspired and work to change Darfur, and we as America will be greater for it, greater for all of our collective actions as committed and active individuals.

  • i swear at parts of this speech he sounds like bush. i dont mean in the content of his speech, i mean in his accent

  • can we talk about the violence in South Side Chicago first?

  • Wow! Just finished watching that Rev Wright speaking talking about how the only God black people can accept is one that kills the white enemy. It was one of the most racist "sermons" I ever heard. He gives the KKK a run for their money. And Obama sat there for 20 years drinking it in. He did a little 20 minute damage control oratory on it but 20 years is 20 years. The spiritual father is Wright and the spiritual son is Obama. He will barf it all out on this nation when elected President.
