My favorite DTB song. I remember first hearing this song and noticing how similar the intro was to the first couple of bars of Californication, but like someone said about the Ben Harper song, its not too likely that it was by design. I don't think Derek listens to much RHCP. on a side note I really hope this band gets back together and tours again in the next couple of years, Derek and Susan's band is badass but I miss all those great jazz fusion moments of the DTB

Woah this is so cool to see. Derek and I traded slides before the show and after the show we talked again. He told me that he used MY SLIDE for the whole show! I remember using the slide Derek is using in this video during the afternoon before the show on my guitars!

Now that you said that, the vocal lines of Vanessa and Ben during the verses kind of remind me the main riff in "So Close, So Far Away" by Derek Trucks, but only very slightly, I don't believe it was anything inttentional.

This song is from 2002...kinda weird.
