  • the american govt didnt cause katrina, but had a shithole response to it.

myself, i wish i could have gone to help them.... even now.

  • This made me cry...

In Feb 2007, I volunteered for a few weeks in the 9th ward and helped with cleanup.

Can someone please tell me how the condition of the 9th Ward is today?

    So tragic...

  • Man, my buddy is in the National Guard, and his unit drove down to New Orleans all the way from Indiana. He's white, I'm black. He said after they got there and got set up, the instructions that were given to them from the commander in New Orleans was, "Our job is to NOT let these niggers totally destroy what's left of the city." My buddy said that his unit commander went bananas and instructed them/The Indiana NG to totally disregard the racism and focus on helping the folks of New Orleans.

  • This is why I'm ultra conservative.. I'd love to be a liberal and raise taxes if I thought it would actually go to help these sort of people and the working poor. Unfortunately thats not what happens. You vote to raise taxes for our poor and they bail out bankers and increase defense spending and save the poor in some 3rd world country that will later hate us. The less they can take and give to the rich or foreign interests the more you can have to help yourself when this kind of stuff happens.

  • this is THE major difference between spike and tyler. u decide.

  • I did not have any major damage to my home, but I wish I would stayed in Houston.

  • @gman1225 I understand clearly what u r saying, but katrina did not cause major damage to the city. After the storm passed it was if a wind storm passed over us. But when the levees broke, this is when all hell broke out.

  • @lumimo They did know they even did a thing on it a year before this happened. When it hit and was over I was so shocked that so many people got caught up in it when they had fair warning to leave. You can rebulid a city and replace material things but if you lose your life you can't get that back. Next time I bet they will get out as soon as they say cat 5 storm. The city still has a long way to go but you can'y hols a city like that down.

  • @troyboy408 you idiot there are credits at the end with the song titles.

  • @superolive88
