This is a very simple experiment not so easy for replicate. First video by gfcgamer.

Remenber we need a good weight from water stucking/flowing in the tubes, this sucks the cup too strong, the brass support keeps the cup because its curve /and kick the cup back because of his material.

The cup must be from such compatible size, as any engine, you need by try and error.

Just begin the circular movement, the timing will make the cup force to close the flow, the water hammer effect brings the cup up again, and everthing keeps going on and on while the water is flowing.

Just do it, and shut up
