Old footage I got from a show called 'the golden age of Rock and Roll" - excerpted from a 1964 - 1965 syndicated television series entitled "Hollywood a Go-Go", which originated from KHJ-TV (now KCAL-TV) in Los Angeles.
I believe This was broadcast August 28, 1965.

For those who wonder why the guitar is not plugged in, the sound systems they had back then, were not geared for that. All you could do was sing along. For some who really had no talent anyway, it was a good thing. It was a shame though, because some of the singers and bands of the day had real talent. For the guy who asked if he did indeed commit suicide, yes he did. Depression is a terrible thing. Del..RIP.

@Jakeman219 You got that right. Would gladlly return to those days, even if I were the age I am now. We were blessed in those times. Kids today just do not know what the really missed. Girls were girls, and Guys were guys.
