ilove run dmc but by the early 90s they were pretty much a thing of the past. 83-88 they were on top and pioneers taking over a relatively new style of music. The majority of their image and style was tied into the D-boy B-boy era and by the late 80s and the height of their popularity there was no way that anybody could ever see them with a different style, which they attempted here at ill TV and in other music they made in the early 90s. Just my opinion and thoughts..

DEVESTATING performance from the most HUGE act in music history! Run DMC is a revolution, not just a rap group. This clip is a good 2-minute argument or display to show any kids that their fake-ass acts today can't even come close to hanging with live performances like this. This is super-human shit. Run and D are fierce! Jay is magical and HARDCORE back on the wheels of steel. RIDICULOUS!

@grantpre0 THEY WERE NEVER THE PAST..THEY WERE STILL TOURING....AND GOING THROUGH PERSONAL DEMONS....FANS BECAME FICKLE BECAUSE HIP-HOP WAS STILL NEW........THEY STILL WERE HEADLINERS ON MAJOR TOURS....STILL SOLD MORE RECORDS THAN ALOT OF THE NEW ARTIST AT THAT TIME....FIRST TO PERFORM ON THE GRAMMYS...FIRST GOLD AND PLATINUM ARTIST..FIRST ON THE COVER OF ROLLING STONE...AND THE FIRST ON MTV...REAL FANS KEPT SUPPORTING RUN-DMC...RIP JMJ
