Artist Phil Taylor came on News Talk Online on Paltalk.com to discuss his Texas Fallen Soldiers Project. Established to create portraits of fallen soldiers from Texas, and of late, beyond.
Portraits that are gifted to their family members as a lasting tribute.
Taylor says he does it for the families. That point was driven home when Dreama from Chicago took the microphone.
Dreama is the mother of a U.S. soldier who died in Iraq. She wept as she thanked Taylor for what he is doing. So did members of the audience. As they heard her speak, from the heart, about how, too often, the rest of the nation sometimes forgets the sacrifices of its fallen soldiers. But for the families, there is no forgetting.
Typical of Taylor, he immediately offered to paint a portrait of Dreama's son.
