  • I was eating a lot of BOCA burgers before fasting, which I feel is really helping with the initial few days of my reboot. I'm still feeling pretty good, in the beginning of it all so plenty more ahead of me!

  • I started a 25 day juice cleanse cold turkey and day 5 started with a headache and ended with a migraine. I never get headaches. Day 6 was such a bad headache that I was tempted not to do anything but had agreed to a saili g race with my father and friend, so I had to go.... It was one of the worst mornings of my life but by late afternoon I was merely miserable. Starting again for lent and gonna have nightly psyllium husk leading up to it, occasionally during it and occasional morning salt w

  • @ILuv2bUmmi I started my juice fast cold turkey. I had a headache and felt like in a fog until the 4th day, after that it got better and better. I`m am now on my 24th day and I feel better than before. I`ve lost 20lbs and hope to lose more by the 20th of February which is my full month on the juice.

    You still have to be careful when coming off the 'fast' because I did a juice 'health clean out' 2 years ago, having juices in the morning and then eating salads/veg etc for the other 2 meals with fish for protein. Lost about 12kg in 60 days, was very careful coming off eating similar foods but have put all weight back on +. Mind sets are very hard to change-despite our 'diet' consisting of fruit, veg, dairy,meat etc,. Wished I knew the answer to keeping it off.

  • Really? Oh I can definitely deal with that. I just thought without slowly starting to put fiber in my body before starting the fast. I thought I could get really sick or something. Or maybe even die! I know I know. but that is why I had to ask because my juicer will be arriving in a few days and my husband and I are just gonna dive right in and start doing this fast. So thank you once again. I hope this helps my health tremendously :)

  • @ILuv2bUmmi runny stool for a few days but it was worth it.

  • 6 weeks on green juice plus fruit and vegies and sometimes a handful of nuts...started at 93Kg and now 83Kg. About to start the next 6 weeks. Have no dairy, meat, sugar, salt, or flour products. I reckon I can lose another 33Kg to be at the right weight for my height. Oh, and by the way, my blood glucose levels changed from 20mmol/L on arising to 4mmol/L - that was miraculous.
