I learned to play the guitar 50 years ago by listening to their records and trying to copy everything. Listening to these recordings today bring back those boyhood memories. I eventually got a Mosrite bass in '65 and I still have it.

@guitgeo mosrites going out a tune is a myth. The Japanese ones sucked and all the fake ones probably went out tune but the real mosrites were great. The problem was people put on heavier gauge strings when the guitars were built for 9 or 10s. 11 or 12s were too heavy, and you couldn't tune them properly. Anyone who loved them and knew how to maintain them properly knew you needed light gauge strings because those guitars are built for speed!
