  • Blinkin' FLIP, these guys were great.

  • @teleman1949 Right on that one! It sounds easy but its not! Anybody would have to work at it unless your The Ventures!

  • I learned to play the guitar 50 years ago by listening to their records and trying to copy everything. Listening to these recordings today bring back those boyhood memories. I eventually got a Mosrite bass in '65 and I still have it.

  • It's impossible to play better

  • 0:55 Mel is Whipping ass as usual, dangit!!!!

  • I've heard guitar players say Ventures music is easy--ok try playing this note for

    note

  • @guitgeo mosrites going out a tune is a myth. The Japanese ones sucked and all the fake ones probably went out tune but the real mosrites were great. The problem was people put on heavier gauge strings when the guitars were built for 9 or 10s. 11 or 12s were too heavy, and you couldn't tune them properly. Anyone who loved them and knew how to maintain them properly knew you needed light gauge strings because those guitars are built for speed!

  • Love this version. It's very much uptempo.

  • Ha. Zero dislikes. sweet surf<3

  • "Slaughter On 10th Avenue" is one of my all time favorite tunes by the planet's no.1 instrumental band Ever!!

    5X5X5 Stars!! THUMB'S UP X 1,000
