@MrPeterDragon You're right. In this case, playing it in A minor allows for a greater use of open strings, which makes it sound richer then if it had been played in the original key of C minor. It's also a much easier key for the guitar.

I was hoping to hear the actual prelude in A-minor: it's one of my favorites.

Somtimes, when porting a piece from one instrument, to another. It is necessary to transpose the work into another key. That is probably the case here.

As indicated by the title of the score, it was called Prelude in A Minor but no information on Opus and numbering sequence. You have a spanish guitar version? Can you share with me?
