That's not scouse. Scouse is thick with collapsed and homogenised veg and meat - anything that looks like yours, ie veg swimming in soup, is just a stew.

Scouse was always made with mincemeat, which is true in general round our way (Huyton) - most parts of Liverpool though, I think lamb was the norm?
