  • Music like this is what made us 'old timers' more mannerable and respectful, Guys didn't go around calling females B----s without being called on it. We had respect for ourselves and especially our elders. Music is subliminal, you unconsciously take it in. That's why the youth of today are so angry and discontented and disrespectful. They're taking in horrible and terrible messages. I pray that one day, things will at least try to get back to basics. Love and peace

  • Thank you, 9876543217303! But, you know the angry ones should have been born when they had a real blatant-outrageous-in-the-face reason to be.

  • Love this song!

  • @phillydog17 Yes, this is merely one of the greatest groups ever to come out of Philly, shame that Philly is not the same as in the old days..I'm, from Bklyn NY & Philly was known for it's music, hands down! These days Philly is known for Occupy Philly protests..As far as music, too many acts came outta Philly in the 70's, Philly was a virtuall music meca:Delfonics, Chi Lites, Stylistics, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, Blue Magic, I mean, I can go on forever, the music was simply off the chain

  • @9876543217303 You hit the nail on the head..I am 46 yrs old and the music tdy really makes me sick...alot of the music is sampled from the old music of the 50's, 60's & 70's..You can flip on the TV on any given day and see a commercial w/a sampled song..this generation d/n hve originality so what do they do? They take a trip to the past to go back to a time when music was original, w/feeling & meaning..The pwrs in charge want to ruin this generation and it's working..

  • @9876543217303 perfect words!

  • I don't respect bitches but this song makes me want to love a woman.

  • I can remember garage parties back in the day. A row of perfectly cropped afros would be lined against the walls but when this song came on all the 'fros moved to the center of the room. It was the essence of urban beauty. Long live soul music and all it's practitioners.

  • @9876543217303 Well said : )

  • soulful... beautiful...pulls one back in time, when relationships were more secured because there was commitment, not that there is none now,but times were a lot simpler then...

  • @jorgesantos43 Amen to your post. I was thinking the same thing homey!!

  • The greatest group ever to come out of Philly!
