Hi Everyone,
This is a video that I made as part of an assembly that my class did on Child Poverty. I am a big fan of the band Tokio Hotel and, on hearing the topic we were to talk about in our assembly, I immediately thought of this song. 'Forgotten Children' is a song all about those children in the world who are growing up in extreme poverty, many dying before their fifth birthday. It calls out to the listener to remember these forgotten children and to remember that they are no different from us. They laugh like us. They cry like us. They have hopes, dreams, feelings and fears just like us. And above all, they have a place on this Earth, just like us. That's when I volunteered to make a video for the assembly, with this song as my backing track.
I'm very proud of this video and I hope that you will find it moving too. All I ask from you when you watch this video is to listen closely to the lyrics to the song, and wherever possible, look into the eyes of the children. Their eyes speak a thousand words.

It really makes me sad too. How can we let children live like this? :( It's so horrible and unfair on those kids. After all, they deserve to live here as much as we do yet they are denied the right to live here happily. It's just wrong :(

I really like the way you edited this video. You're so good at making videos, you should definitely make them more often!
It's horrible to see how those kids live, it makes me really sad. They desereve the right to live their childhood happily, like usually kids do. Things like that aren't suppoused to happen.
