Chevrolet Silverado HD is the 2011 Motor Trend Truck of the Year. Watch and see who wins as the Chevy Silverado HD takes on the Ford Super Duty in an uphill race on Interstate 70 near Dillon, Colorado. The trucks are timed as they climb a 5-7% grade pulling a trailer of 19,000 pounds, and the results are impressive.

If you get a Brand new truck, just know you'll hate the emissions shit, no matter the brand you choose. Most guys deal with it till warranty runs out.

Not my truck. I'm at 107k. Owner states "Never had valve covers off. Had one set of injectors (And trucks 2004.5+ are easy to change unlike the original lb7) Original CP3." I was incorrect about the trans," I (he) lost a bearing at a half million, so when it came out for the bearing it got built." I do know two guys sitting in the 6 and 7 hundred Thousand range on stock trans, Yes, they use them to tow for a living. Tuning for crazy HP is what will Limp an Ally if done wrong.

Original 951K mi and not a typo? How many sets of injectors, injection pumps have you gone through? What other major repairs done outside of cylinder heads and block? I am seriously considering a duramax over the cummins. Feedback would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks
