A trip with the Will County Audubon club to Jasper Pulaski Wildlife Refuge in Indiana to see the annual fall migration of the Eastern population of Greater Sandhill Cranes on their way to Florida for the winter. There are estimates of from 10,00 to as many as 24,000 birds that pass this way each fall and then back again in the spring. Nature in all its best..sights and sounds. Amazing!

  • This is an excellent video. You really caught the full flavor of the place and a day's adventure in the vicinity. Your filming and your story were great. Best regards, Tome

  • Thank you for your nice comment. :-) For years we have heard them fly overhead, not realizing that they grouped a mere 90 miles from our home. When the chance presented itself to us to see them all together we jumped at it. Its something that everyone should see. The sights and sounds are incredible. :-)
