  • From a mental point of view I would say the main thing I learned from the Marines is to NEVER FEEL SORRY FOR MYSELF. That is the worst thing you can do. Self pity is the biggest reason guys drop out and quit from anything. They think they can't hack it well you can. Your body can indure more pain and hardship than you can even imagine. Semper Fi and good luck.

  • "have an awesome outstanding day" lol haha soo funny...OORAH

  • i still have 3 or 4 years till i join and ive been wanting to join for like 3 years now and im a little out of shape so im going to have to start working soon because football starts too Semper Fi thanks for the advice

  • Love how this guys talks, alot of confindence, alot of straight up answers, everything he says all all true, no bullshit. Here's one thing I need to point out though, I'm not trying to argue here because I don't know how boot camp was before the millenium but going to chow is actually the first thing we do as soon as we wake up, then after that we do morning clean up in the barracks and then start the day, other than that this guy pretty much says it all.

  • Thank you very much for this video. I'm 16 and I'm about to be 17 in 3 months and I plan on joining the marines. Semper fi

  • Anyone watching this who plans on going in... listen to this guy. You need to teach yourself how to really push and dig-down for that extra something because when you miss the mark in boot (especially during pt) they're just gonna push you harder. Remember "speed and intensity" and you can never be too loud.

  • So I have to be physically fit to join because I think that is one of my weakness
