I didn't lose any weight on his eat stop eat dies. I modified it to a 2-3-3 diet. The first two days I eat whatever I want. The next three days i go on a ketogenic diet so by day five I am in Ketosis. Then I do the 24 hour fasts for the next three days but maintain the ketogenic diet. I lose three to five pounds a week and I do not slow down the metabolism as I eat carbs for two days a week.
