Adriana Lima Responds To Gisele's Breastfeeding Beliefs

Victoria's Secret supermodel and new mom Adriana Lima offered her take on Gisele's controversial breastfeeding comments with The Huffington Post while promoting the $2 million diamond-encrusted Fantasy bra on Wednesday.

Back in August, Gisele told Harper's Bazaar UK "Some people here [in the U.S.] think they don't have to breastfeed, and I think 'Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?...I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months." She added, "I think breastfeeding really helped [me keep me figure]."

HuffPost's Samira Nanda caught up with Lima at the Victoria's Secret flagship store in Soho, where she revealed "I did breastfeed, but for me it did not make me lose weight. Every woman is different....so just stick with your beliefs and as long as you try your best, that's what matters."
