@gearsgamer1 absolutely first thing is to make an appointment with your doctor, because headaches can have so many causes.

Until the appointment, keep a diary so you can tell the doctor what the headaches have been like: how often are they, and at what time of day; how long they last; whether they fade in/out or are sudden; what you were doing when they came on; where they were in your head; what they felt like; if they moved around. The more info the better.

i have been getting a headache everyday...anyone have any advice???

You will end up screwed because you have the Attack and youll have the Jitters from Cafergot or someother side effect on top of it.

Pretty good at describing the headaches. However migraine medicine does not work on both. Prednisone is the steroid he is referring to but you cannot take that every day as it is addictive. Other than that Oxygen is the only other thing I know of. When I first started with Cluster headaches I tried immitrex, Maxaalt, Cafergot etc. everything you can think of. THEY DO NOT WORK!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

@dunskie There is also a type of headache called an ice pick headache. Similiar symptoms to cluster headaches, but not classified as a cluster headache.

@KauniRaine I am a female and I get cluster headaches, so tell your friend she's not alone AND I hope she fired that "neurologist" Remind her that even doctors that graduate at the bottom of their class, are still called doctors. I hope she found someone that truly understood her medical condition.
