i gotta 76 vega and im wondering about a differnetal swap would it be posable to send me some pics ?

@chevettesrme I dont have pics of diff. Mine is a 7.5" 10 bolt out of a V-8 Monza. S-10 rear ends are about the same width.

My friend is looking at a 74 Vega with a stock 4 cylinder engine, this is a bad ass looking car, it is gun metal black with no scratches or rust and has awesome red rims, but I've heard from rumors that the 4 cylinder Vega got hot to easily and blew the head gasket, is this true, if so I don't want my friend to blow his money. Comments?

They were known more for cylinders wearing to early and burning oil. Get the cylinders sleeved and it will last a long time.

markl350 ya im gona go with the s10 diff . the problum is mounting it up i dont want to use the torque arm set up that comes stock. i want to make a custom 4 link. did you just use stock brackets on your s10 diff or did you do somting different?
