  • We don't need Europe and Europe does not need us-sooner we get out and fight our corner THE BETTER.

  • You obviously didn't listen to what he was saying. He opposes supra-national organisations imposing 'Order' on the world - what is so right wing about that?

  • everyone should sign the government e-petition website to leave the EU because this is ridiculous, just search 'britain wants referendum to leave EU' and sign!

  • @valarmanwe First off joining the EEA (the countries like Norway belong to) will take care of visa worries and free trade and is virtually free for Britain to join, secondly if you consider VAT tax, you should be aware that a percentage of it is raised by the EU as one example, thirdly do you understand how much of the H&S Executives work load comes straight from EU directives?, so far your case for staying in is not all that compelling.

  • @SteveMakesAmillion. Not sure I understand you. I`m interested in how much a pull-out would save me, as an individual. I`m not at all convinced that my tax bill would fall to compensate for the added costs of European travel/ holidays. What other bodies could we join that would render visas un-neccessary ?

And I`m not convinced, either, that red tape would be cut. We are the world experts in red tape. We need no lessons from Europe. H&S Executive spring to mind ?

  • @valarmanwe Holiday visa costs would cost more than the EU, the industries forced out of business by the EU and the rest of the red tape like human rights act maga million "protect the criminals/fail asylum seekers" court cases?, are you taking the piss? if 10 million familys bought visas at 200 quid=2 billion, even if visas are more than that its still way off just the open annual 17 billion the UK tax payer forks over and besides there are other bodies to join that would make visas unneeded.

  • @VictorScotland That`s my view too. The vast majority of Brits who holiday abroad go into mainland Europe. The family visa costs alone would cost more for the average family than anything that may be gained from leaving. I know a fella who earns the NMW and votes UKIP. Which is fine, except he plans to retire to Spain on a £60K pension for God`s sake ! Pull out of the EU, and he`ll need the mandatory 1 million Euros. Fall as the Euro might....... !

    Am I agreeing with a Scot ? Heaven`s above !

  • It is blatantly obvious to me that this "EUSSR" will "Fall apart". I support a "Free Trade" area however, I do not want to be part of this "Super-state". This union does not know the meaning of the word DEMOCRACY, If a member state votes NO in a referendum( If they are even asked by their "ruling-Elite"), the result is usually ignored and they are asked/told to "Vote again" until the "Correct" answer is delivered! Some Democracy. We need to get back to a type of EFTA-free-trade; It did work !

  • Bullshit, you need foreign workers for british economy, I'm sick about this british hypocrisy, nobody force british employers to hire foreign workers.

  • I find sence in what he is saying, although I would like my country to join the EU, but I think I would have been against memberchip if I where a Brit. But since I am not and (maybe therefore) want to join the EU, I just have to say I disagree!
