Excellent video. But kind of a silly question; what happens to animals when they die? Or plants, etc....that is living? Do they have souls too? Do they all go live with God? After all they are his creations as well. Guess I am a little confused about the other living creatures here on earth.

God only speaks of humans having life after death. Although it is very likely in the New Heaven and New Earth there will be plants and animals..not just the same ones that existed in this life......Pastor Lassman

Wow, I came up more or less with same theory yesterday. Interesting to hear someone else think of it.

I think after we die we are fast-forwarded to the end. Even though people die at different times, it is the same movie and fast-forwarding. I don't think people realize the implications of the absence of time in the eternal realm. Some think Jesus is waiting for the right time for His second coming. One blink of God's eye and the entire human history is played out. It is us who are waiting.

The "soul" and "spirit" are NOT interchangeable terms. Spirit= 'ruwach', and is the 'breath of God' that exists within every living thing. Soul= 'nephesh', and means: a creature that has a body & spirit. The 'soul' is what a thing is when it has a body & spirit. When a person dies, they are no longer a 'soul', but the spirit and body become separated. A 'living soul' is made up of two things: spirit and body; these two things combined make a living soul (Gen.2:7).

I am sure Pastor Lassman can answer better, but I know enough that you haven't been resurreted before. That's why you don't remember. Heb 9:27 " inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment," Human being die physically only once.

Wow. that was just.. wow. Im a 16 year old girl. I was, (and still am), having trouble believing in "God", although I want to, Im just confused. I have many many questions that I ask all the time in CCD, and to my parents. NO ONE can answer me. I think very deeply, and this.. this lesson touched me. What I would like to ask now, Have I been resurrected before? If so, why don't I remember? You say a split second later we open our eyes. Will I have the same conscious? Please, help me.
