  • How was the Por-15 process? Would you recommend it for my Chevelle?

  • Long, you have to be hospital clean. I have since learned of other rust products by the Eastwood company that are also of the highest quality. Prep is everything.

  • I have used Por 15 to paint an entire vehicle, but by spraying it on. I stripped the entire chasis and body on an austin champ, and painted 2 coates of Por 15, then 2 coates of high build Por primer. Now the whole vehicle is wet sanded and de greased ready for top coat. One word of advice is never sand por 15 with anything coarse, as it peels off and makes a mess. Use 600 to 800 or scotch bright after painting, and primer will go on a doddle.

  • i have a 67 mustang, i am in the process of restoring it. I was just wondering why you used por 15 to prime the whole car? I know it will stop the rust forever, but i was just curious is this something i should do? i have never seen it done before, thats why i am asking.

  • Nice job, I'm planning on embarking on the same thing shortly....on a car in Australia. Any tricks you learned the hard way that made the job easier?
