John performed several times w/ the Pops, I too would purchase a DVD, or cd. A purer talent will never be found!!

I am so grateful for this download. I have been looking everywhere for a copy of this program. I saw it at a friends house on vhs years ago. I always hoped they would release this again on dvd. I wish they would. I would pay for a copy of this if you have it. this is an excellent quality download as well.

I can't begin to imagine why the Pops, or whomever owns the copyright, doesn't publish this evening's performance on DVD. I remember hearing it live on NPR, then rushing home to watch it on PBS.

He must have sung these songs thousands of times by the time of this performance, but he always sang with his heart. And he seemed to get better and better as he matured. Great clip. Thanks.

Gosh, what I wouldn't have given to have seen that show in person. I've been going to a few Boston Pops shows every year for the past several years. It would have been awesome to see John perform in that building. He gave wonderful music to this world. What a voice! He looked so handsome in that red shirt, too! We all miss you, John. You continue to bring us joy each day through your music. Thank you.
