As much as splitting lanes is stupid and against the rules of the road, doing it takes a ton of time off the commute, assuming you are willing to take the risk. A better solution would be proper bike lanes however.

yeah, those four guys in white are your gaurdian angels, they'll be there first when you get ran over= / lol

Repellant. People who hate cyclists AND Torontonians would love this video. It's as though it were produced by Don Cherry.

i think that if bikers listened to the rules of the road and actually paid attention to them, then bikers and cars would get along... not that im taking the drivers' side, but at the same time, it must be stressful for them

hahaha! awesome!
1:42. That is how you get killed. Honestly, truck drivers cannot see that, NEVER pass a truck on the right. Other than that the ride was pretty tame except for the mentally challenged pedestrian.
Off topic, I always considered the CN tower to be male....

@Ammoniummetavanadate Good point about the CN tower ;-). As for the truck I agree - it may have been a dangerous move - although the truck was stopped - the door prize was my biggest risk.

Although I am an aggressive cyclist I am obeying the rules of the road and I do respect the cars around me. They are in charge.

Nice, but it would be nicer if it included the original sound rather than a musical overlay. It would be nicest if Toronto had good bicycle paths, this video certainly isn't encouraging anyone to get on their bike.

The original sound is muffled due to excessive wind hitting the microphone. That is why there is musical overlay. I agree that Toronto isn't very bike friendly especially riding North-South. Jarvis bike lanes are a start but I think they should go ahead with the proposed University Avenue bike lane pilot project to see if it would be viable.
