Welcome to a Railfanning By Location Special in 4:3! In this episode, you will follow Amtrak up the Union Pacific Coast Line (ex-Southern Pacific) from Camarillo, California up to Gilroy. I put some slightly older shots to use in this film, so please excuse some of the irregular camera moves. This Amtrak Locomotive 118 (Second Locomotive @ 4:40, 7:40, 8:34 & 9:00 there may be 2 more but couldn't make the numbers out) was involved in a fatal tractor-trailer collision at 8:30 AM this morning (Wednesday, December 12, 2011) on the Lakeshore Limited line just west of Buffalo, NY in Dunkirk, NY.
