  • @DaddyFurr Did you know that a 15 person board has already been established to decide of end-of-life scenarios. Go ahead, you vote for the demons. I hope you don't have any elderly parents.

  • @fubecabr Vote em out. Vote out all the democrats! If the demons stay in power, we're gonna sink.

  • @largraf Big Deal about the 'healthcare bill', how do you feel about the trillions of dollars Bush and his followers steal from us to murder Iraqi's? That debacle has cost us much more than healthcare & there was no damn need to start that War. Complete waste of lives & dollars. Funny too that after we destroyed Iraq, we built a Mosque (military church) right at their 'Ground Zero' in Bagdhad. That's completely F'd up and we as a country should be ashamed. Mighty Hitleresque Christian we are!

TARP was only $700B, or 3% of the total bailouts.

Yes, things are bad. We're bankrupt as individuals and as a nation. We have near Great Depression levels of unemployment.

  • @fubecabr Social Security is solvent thru 2038. The health reform bill is funded. (And people that already have insurance will continue as they are now-no change) The bailout ( I assume you mean TARP) is currently making the treasury a profit as the institutions that were bailed out are now paying back their loans with interest, which will be used to lower the deficit. THings are not nearly as bad as the propaganda channel would have you believe.

    Obamacare is here to stay.

  • @DaddyFurr

The house and the senate are supposed to approve spending bills, except for the illegal bailouts of course. Therefore, if Obamacare isn't funded, it becomes mostly impotent.

Not that there's a way to fund it anyways. Medicare and Social Security are a $100 TRILLION unfunded liability. You could confiscate the entire wealth of the nation still not have enough money.

We're broke folks. It's time for the US and the states to file Ch. 9 bankruptcy.

  • Anybody who runs for office promising to repeal the health care bill is pulling your leg. It won't happen. Also for the fools that voted for candidates that promised constitutional amendments against gay marriage and abortion - how's that promise holding up? Didn't get it did you? The constitution is very hard to amend. And controversial issues never get amendments passed (such as the ERA)

  • Scott McAdams said he will not repeal the Obama healthcare bill. Scott McAdams must be voted out!

  • Good luck Mayor!
