Mexican Immigration to the USA

An interview with a Mexican-American about Mexican illegal immigration into the U.S.A.
The issue in this video is the character of the meaning of "legality". Immigration, whether human or otherwise, is ruled by natural laws and not by man made laws. I'm sure your grandparents immigrated to this great country because of some sort of dissatisfaction or unfulfilled needs in their homeland. Their reason for leaving was not one of "legality" rather than "necessity". The 'legal' status is established by the hosting government through man made laws enacted through Congress or some other law making body. Law makers should take into consideration the legitimacy of the issue on hand or the earnestness of the participants involved. When a person leaves his country and immigrates into another, his/her legitimate reason for doing so is what counts; not the interpretation that a biased group of law makers decide. Remember that the forefathers of this courageous country were also immigrants, and that one of their main concerns was that the 'legal issues' of government be determined by the legitimate issues OF THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE AND BY THE PEOPLE, not by the government or governing bodies.

im all for diversity and im not a racist but if u can't speak english u have to learn it like all the other European immigrants did in the 1900's (the italians, russians, polish, german and other european countries) or get the hell out of here y should we cater to these illegal aliens..putting spanish on aunt jemima boxes and everythinf else...i mean why do we have to learn spanish to help then they should change to english not the other way around

This is a horrible thing that unfortunately Americans can hardly help themselves. The American Hispanic people here feel for these people just as I do an American Greek/Irishmen. We have to help people around the world but can't. As it is the countries resources are being stretched because people have 6 or 7 children and then we keep letting more and more people in. This is just logic. You tell me what is going to happen. It is common sense. If it was Canadians it would be no different.

Indiana has proposed a bill to put the kabash, requiring 1 parent of a child born here to be a citizen or legal alien.

We cannot accomodate all the poor & oppressed in the entire world. If we do, there will be no America the Beautiful in future generations. The children of our grandkids will never know how great this nation once was. But…who cares? Right?
