Skyrim Boss fight: Malyn Varen (The Azura's Star quest)

I was warrior when i did this, made them get stuck around a corner, then mass arrow spam until they died :D

As a mage, I did this at level 8 set at expert difficulty lol (the enemies themselves locks around 'your' level which makes it quite easy) Just conjure a flame atronach and whirlwind sprint to close distance, unrelenting force to stagger and some electric spells to drain the mana from that poor sod Malyn.

I just used the spell breaker to push through the dremora.

I have a way to beat Malyn Varen quickly if you're mage. If you have the frost storm spell, just exit the beginning sequence as fast as possible, and dual cast frost storm twice (hopefully you can) on Malyn, and he'll die. I was around level 35 when I killed him.

Press B or Circle to exit conversation while he first starts attacking you and you'll have extra time to hurt him

Though it took me like 10 tries, I finally beat the dremora by conjuring a flame atronach as a shield and hid behind the crystals till they found me. Then I ran out with my sword and somehow oneshot stabbed one then fus ro da'd the other and beat him on the ground. And I was surprised by how weak the boss was. I simply ran up hit him twice and stabbed him and that was that. Quite an endeavour.

big tip: use conjure dremora lord or if you dont have it then use any conjure not for same use dremora for fightin other one for discrating i done this in 2 mins

My strat on master:

Use the sanguine rose a couple times to distract the dremora, and conjure a flame atronoch. Then pull out the Mace of Molag Bol or any other weapon, use become erethral, and go for the guy rather than the dremora.

i play on master and this quest was madly hard i eventually just got tired of it and used paralysis so if u cant even et past the dremora get a paralysis potion or the spelll take him down and kill the bitch ass nub
