  • im going there this Saturday with my family yayy i cant wait :) <3 <3 but this amusement park is amazing :) <3

  • Only to get there attention LOL

  • I agree.

  • Cedar fair should buy Playland off PNE, and bring some of there rides with them.

  • Cedar Fair could buy Playland off PNE.

  • A B&M seems unlikely...

There was some talk about Cedar Fair opening a park here but with the tough economic times and the olympics here, that sounds like just a pipe dream.

  • Yeah I know. Or a B&M whre the noise won't even be an issue as much.

Playland is pretty much going to stay for some time to come. Could they perhaps open another park further away?

  • There were serious plans of moving Playland to the scott road area (close to me) but they got axed by the pne people, but that would have been great cause theres A LOT of open space down there. That would be good if they got an Intamin.

  • You actually fall out of your seat like on Coaster? That always freaks me out. I've ridden Giant Dipper in Santa Cruz last year and it's similar. Freaks me out!

My original hopes were for an SLC but that seems unlikely because of space concerns. A standard SLC is only 689m so I'd say they move some stuff around and it would fit. What about Intamin's 4D compact coaster? Intamin Halfpipe? I'll take an Intamin ride any day.

  • I held onto the red bar like my life depended on it when it stopped upside down!

I go alot to hang out and go on the wooden coaster :P I wouldnt mind working there. Anyways I found some sites that sell used roller coasters to parks, there were a couple Boomerangs, those arent bad.
