Young Americans for Liberty- debate with a Romney Supporter- CPAC 2011

This is a video of fellow YAL members and myself engaging in a civil debate with a Romney supporter at CPAC 2011 after the Straw Poll announcement.

This video proves the media wrong. The media tried to portray us as trolls or infiltrators, when in reality, we are a legitimate part of the conservative movement within the United States.

Always hammer home the economic situation our nation is in. Our currency is about to collapse from the 3T in debt Bush gave us, and Obama has quickly caught up to that. On top of that is Greenspan and Bernake at the Fed. And there are easy answeres. Abandon all overseas bases and mind our own business.

@WilliBond0007 actually, this is only half of the discussion. Those were touched on to an extent earlier in the debate. Then I got my camera out. I wanted people to see POSITIVE from our group- the story they did not get from Fox News.

Poor old flipflop Romney is in a dilemma. Romneycare in Massachusetts is his creation yet he opposes the national program modeled after it. How to flip is the question of the year for Romeny. Flip without flopping too much.

I just can't understand why people can stay loyal to a man (Romney) who presents his issues in an illogical matter. For instance, he says that he is all for small government but yet he would have signed the NDAA and the part where the President has the power to jail any american citizen via military force!

The only people who support Romney are establishment hacks and/or people who are mormon and want a mormon president. This is no different than those who wanted a black president and got Obama and those who like Cain who want an ariculate black man but ignore his support the FED and the 2008 bailouts

The "choosing the lesser of two evils" argument was made by the Romney supporter and is often made by interventionists using WW II as the prime example of a necessary war. It can be argued that Allied involvement only empowered Stalin who murdered more innocents than Hitler (not to mention the blood shed in the Cold War that was ushered in) and if the Allies had avoided war, Germany and Russia would have destroyed each other.

The lesser of two evils is still evil.
