It was a simpler time in 1972 when "Simple Ben" formed an integral part of
the soundtrack to seminal surf film "MORNING OF THE EARTH " .
'Simple Ben " , originally written and recorded by John J Francis for the
soundtrack , has a Country- soul feel reminiscent of Crosby Stills and Nash.
The words and the sentiment of the song still echo true today in the
re-recording version - featuring Lior, Brian Cadd, Old Man River and Mike
Rudd (Spectrum).
