My Parents Give Me No Privacy!

This week we answer a teenager's question about privacy from their parents. This teenager feels like his/her parents are always around, invading their privacy, not giving them any space, and even suffocating them. How do you handle a parent who is overly protective, strict, and overbearing? How do you talk with your parent about it to resolve the tension? What do you do when you family is always in your space and not giving you any breathing room?

I've tried talking to my mom about letting me sit alone with my bf and haveing a conversation alone with him sence we are never alone. but she is always talking about how im so called "obsessed" with him, when all i really want is some space and some time to be with him without her being a foot behind me. She thinks that we are gonna make out, and do "other things" but we wont, but she wont believe me when I tell her that....i dont know what to do..please help me :'(

My parents r cool but when they do that ( not often just once in awhile ) I tell them and that's what you should do

The problem is youth need to learn how to say thanks to your parents, you guys need some sense of thanksgiving and appreciation.
