Christmas time in Iraq isn't Christmas at all. Violence continues and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis are mourning this Christmas, and thousands of American families will be missing a loved one this holiday season.

pasto: I think the point here is that people are dying, on both sides, and that it needs to be stopped. Are you saying that you think it should continue so more people can die? I am sorry if you have lost someone you cared about in the war. But so have thousands of other people. We aren't allowed to feel sorry for them?

It is a well known and undisputed fact that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. The war in Iraq is doing nothing to stop terrorism. In fact, since the U.S. meddling in the Middle East, sticking it's nose in where it's not welcome, was the cause of the first attack, then the war can only increase your risk.
