Billy Parish speaks about the inspiration behind his work with Climate Coalition and calls listeners to consider the effects of their actions on the weak and most vulnerable members of society and apply these considerations to the green movement. Parish presents the call made by Majora Carter for, "green jobs, not jails" and stresses the fact that change will not come by itself but must start with small action by individuals and communities. Presentation at "Satyagraha: Gandhi's 'Truth Force' in the Age of Climate Change" presented by the Garrison Institute on April 13, 2008 at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine in New York City.
