This has been a great year! I've "discovered" Gabriela Cilmi, Sia Furler and now Jill Barber all in the last ten months. There are some phenomenally talented female vocalists out there. FINALLY. It was a looooooooong wait from the early 70s until the late 90s, and a lot of talentless bimbos like Britney and Christina in the meanwhile. God bless talented singers like Jill Barber.

She sounds like Katie Melua, but Katie Melua has that gorgeous upper register in addition to the sultry sound that Jill Barber's got.
