Kale and I decided to give Charlotte a make-over and get all the knots and dreadlocks out of her mane. It took an hour, and she broke my comb :( but now she looks so beautiful. I have started rugging her and she's being groomed every day. She's pretty good to lead now, ties up and comes to me in the paddock now too! I'm waiting to have her teeth/jaw checked by a vet before I do any mouthing/breaking in work with her, incase she will need to have anything done differently. She's booked in for Tuesday, I think I may film her at the equine hospital too, should be pretty interesting!

Her mane is so beautiful!! I'm glad that you didn't have to cut it too short. WOW what I big improvement. Now shes not pretty shes gorgeous!!

good job! i cant say that ive ever had to do that before though.. my dad was disciplinary about us keeping our animals up.. but she looks pretty and that looked fun! my mare looks just like yours but shes a quarter horse and shes only 13 months:) your horse is so precious. why didnt she buck on your first time riding her?

shes gorgeous! people shouldnt judge her by her scar i think she looks beautiful and think your doing the right thing bout getting her checked though, hope she has the all clear so she can be sold on to a loving family home! your a true inspiration at how you can change a horses outlook on life xxx

Wow, she's just stunning! Her mane is soooooo gorgeous! Props for actually working on it, I would have just cut it off. :P

I thought i'd give it a go before chopping it all off, and I'm glad I did! She is 15.2hh, Kale and I are both tall so I guess she looks smaller

Yeah he is really good, I am very lucky! His favourite out of them all is Teddy :)
